Banana & Chia OatmealCourse: Breakfast & Smoothies
100g (1 cup) oatmeal
50ml cashew nut milk
1tbsp ground flaxseeds
1tbsp hemp seeds
1tsp almond butter
1/2 large banana
1/2 handful frozen buckthorn berries (or any berries)
1tsp maple syrup (optional)
- Pour boiling water (from a kettle) into oatmeal and cook for 3-4 min, when the porridge is almost cooked add cashew nut milk (or any other milk) and cook for another minute.
- Once the porridge is cooked, add 1tbsp of ground flaxseeds and mix well.
- Chop banana on top, add almond butter, hemp seeds, and frozen berries.
- Add some maple syrup if you prefer.
